Hair and Make-Up Trends for Summer/Spring 2012

Hey guys! Sorry, I've been quite busy lately but here's a post that I hope will help you guys this summer. While I was researching stuff about fashion, I came across an article that I want to share with you guys. Well, I got the pictures and upload it here. If you're looking for hair and make-up trends for this summer, this is a must read! Since it's gonna be really hot and sunny soon, too much make-up and fixing your hair every once in a while will be a hassle. So here are some beauty and hair tips for summer :)

So no more reason to look unplanned and unready for summer! What's good about these tips is you can still do them even when you're at the beach or in a family outing. We, girls, always need to have beautiful hair and face all year round :) 

There's one good thing that I want to share with all of you. I'M GONNA BE A WORKING GIRL SOON! And it's fashion-related so I'm really very excited. Once I'm done with the job offer, I'm gonna reveal it! :)

Jamba Juice-ing

So last Saturday, March 3, my cousin and his girlfriend invited me and my sister to have dinner and hang-out at The Fort. It was my sister's first time to join us. My sister had to choose from Rockwell (Happy Lemon) or The Fort (Jamba Juice) Haha! Good thing she chose The Fort so I can finally try Jamba Juice. 


When we got there, we ate dinner at Friday's (...since we were already hungry!).

APPETIZER: Fried Mozarella (Must try!)

Chicken Fingers

Fish and Chips (I love how soft and tender the fish is)

Cajun Shrimp and Chicken Pasta (I'm allergic to seafood but ate this anyway. Haha. 'Di naman namaga face ko so I guess, okay lang. This pasta is good because it's both creamy and spicy!)

We ordered another pasta, Blackened Chicken Alfredo, but since we were in 'eating mode', we forgot to take a picture of it. Hehe.

Hooray for my first Jamba Juice! Haha! I ordered Strawberries Wild (...recommended by Kuya Shane). At first, I didn't like it probably because I expected the drink to be sweeter. But nonetheless, it was good! Now I know why everyone's crazy about it. Haha!

My tummy was full after I finished drinking. It could be a healthier alternative to a meal and it's within everyone's budget! :)

Mamma Mia

Okay, I didn't get to watch Mamma Mia! But, I just wanna greet my awesome Mamma, 

 BELATED HAPPY BIRTHDAY! 

I wouldn't tell people how old you are because you look younger than 49. (Oops!)

This may be cheesy but I just wanna thank you for everything you've done for me. You won't be able to read this but I just want everyone to know that I have 

'The Best Mom In The World'. 

Biased, of course! HAHA! Gotta love your own! Kidding! 

Thank you for always being there for me every time I need you. For always telling to fix my stuff but end up fixing them. Thank you for lending me your bag, pants, top etc. (You use mine too, so quits lang!) Thank you for always cooking yummy food and calling me fat afterwards. For always waiting for me to get home after a night out with my friends (Give me na kasi my own keys! HAHA!). Thank you for being such a supportive stage mother. For always accompanying me when I have auditions and performances. For not stopping me from doing what I really want (in terms of career only!). For keeping my secrets and at the same time, leaking some of them! HAHA! 

Thank you for bringing us up the way you did. I may not always get to understand the way you discipline us but I just wanna say how thankful we are that we have the kindest mom ever.

We're not perfect. We don't always get along but I'm still very thankful that God gave you to us! Thank you for basically, being you! For all the love, care and sacrifices you did for us:)

We love you so much, Mama! 

I wouldn't trade our family for anything in the world! As what we always say, 'Di man tayo mayaman sa pera, mayaman naman tayo sa pagmamahal'. And we'll get by with that!

PS I'm really glad pareho na tayong maarte and kikay! I taught you that! :P And one more thing, hinay-hinay lang sa paglalaro ng BEJEWELED! Baka masira sleeping habits niyo! :)

Productive Day!

Last Thursday, my friend, Erix, and I met up at Megamall for a very productive day! We had lunch at Rack's then went to Mega afterwards. After Mega, we went back to Megamall and submitted our resumes to Ms. Vicky, Forever 21's Store Manager (Megamall Branch). And as usual, when we're together, hindi mawawala ang window shopping! HAHA! We'll buy them soon - pag may work na kami! :)) 

Clam Chowder - was supposed to eat it because it was so enticing but I'm allergic to seafood so, yeah :| 

Our appetizer was a lot so we ended up splitting it and bringing them home :) 

I ordered Smoked Pork Ribs and Erix ordered Rib Flakes. We both didn't finish our food. Pareho kaming nagulat kasi pareho naming di naubos! HAHA! :))

And for my 'dessert' (Erix had her's at Starbucks where we made tambay after Mega), Cocoa with Rock Salt and Cheese! Yummy!

After that, we had a simple dinner at home for my cousin's birthday! BELATED HAPPY BIRTHDAY, KUYA ROBIN! :) Thanks for all your pasalubongs! We love and miss youuu! :* >:D<

PS The photos are really 'sabog' since I used my iPod touch lang :| Gotta keep in mind to always bring my SLR or atleast a digicam! HAHA :)) 

Prom-ising!

It's my sister's prom today! She just left, actually. Since she didn't want to go to the salon and spend some of 'her' money for hair and make-up, she asked me to do it for her! Her prom is at 6pm but they had to be at their school by 4 or 5pm, I think. 

 Forever 21 necklace, Custom made dress, Black Barbie by Shubizz suede shoes and Black beaded clutch 

This necklace used to be 938.50 pesos. It was 70% off so I only paid 280.00 for this! Lucky meee! :) 

We weren't supposed to place this flower. But since it was pretty messy at the back, we had to out something on top of it. See the pins below the flower? HAHA!

Her eye shadow is a combination of light and dark shades of purple and brown :) Plus, mascara and black eyeliner, of course! 

And voila! Prom-ising!

My sister, Gianne and her friend, Sheena! One interesting fact: They're both singers! :) 

This was also my first time to 'design' a dress. Gianne, my sister, and I searched for inspirations online and this was the outcome! Our inspiration was a dress with corset on top and a tutu skirt below. My sister's first choice for the skirt was pink. But since pink was too common, she chose this color instead. And she's happy she did! :) 

Plus, a bow at the back for a more girlie look. The first time she wore this dress, she said she felt like she's a princess! And she is - OUR PRINCESS! :) I hope she enjoys this night! <3
